The Toasties team

  • Manager: Mandy Wall (NVQ level 3 ‘Childcare and Education’)
  • Play Leaders: Jane Marshall, Anita Frayling, Dani Eachus and Sharon Book

The price of Breakfast Club includes a choice of breakfast cereal and/or toast with apple & orange juice provided. Please arrive before 8:30 if your child requires breakfast. The cost of the session remains the same regardless of your child’s time of arrival, or whether or not he or she has breakfast.

After School Club

This is a term time only service. Toasties does not run on in-service (INSET) days

  1. is £10.00 per session. Session duration is 3:15 pm - 6:00 pm.

A snack and drinks are provided at 4:40pm.

Please note that due to staff availability children must be collected by 6.00pm at the latest. We will make an additional charge of £5 for every 15 minute period past 6pm that you are late to collect your child. Your child’s place may be withdrawn if they are repeatedly collected after 6pm.

Toasties booking system

The Toasties booking system will be converting to online bookings only from January 2019. From January all sessions must be booked through Parentpay and payment made online within two hours of booking to secure your sessions. If you are unsure of your Parentpay login, please contact the School Office. Bookings may no longer be made verbally through the office or the Toasties team.

Parents that are new to the school and who require access to the Parentpay online booking system should submit a completed data sheet to the school office. Once the office team have created your Parentpay account you should be able to view and pay for available Breakfast and After School Club sessions.

Places in Breakfast and After School Club will be available on a first come first served basis and sessions may be booked up to one month in advance via the Parentpay system. Please note that full payment must be made at time of booking for your child’s place to be secured.

In respect of voucher payments, please hand the office the printed confirmation from your voucher provider. The office can then credit your Parentpay account with this amount and you will be able to book sessions based on the credit shown. Cash and cheque payments must be processed by office staff before you can book a session online.

Unfortunately it will not be possible to issue refunds or credits for sessions booked but not attended. This is because play leader rotas are organised in advance based on the number of planned attendees for each session.

Toasties Capacity

The Toasties Club capacity is governed by a rigid Staff to Child ratio. If you find that there is no availability for your child on your required days when booking ahead then you should email the Toasties Manager Mandy Wall in the first instance on to explain your family’s needs. This will allow us to gauge whether additional capacity could be planned. In case of a family emergency where short term before and after school child care may be required then please call the school office to discuss your needs so that they can liaise with Toasties staff to determine whether an emergency place can be made available for your child.

Please be kind enough to inform the school office if your child will not be not attending a breakfast or After School Club session due to absence or illness. This will allow us to offer the place to another child who may need it at short notice due to family emergency.

Behaviour expectations

All children are expected to follow the school’s Caring Code during all extended care sessions:

‘Show you care, show respect, do your best.’

As part of our registration with OFSTED, we have a duty to report any concerns that arise in relation to any child who attends Toasties. We follow the school’s Child Protection Policy.

And finally

Please remember to submit a revised registration form to the school office if your address, telephone number or other key details change, as these provide us with important information to help us keep your child safe & healthy.

You may contact Toasties through the school telephone number. Messages can also be left on this number.
