Prior Park Biathlon

Friday 6th October

Last Friday, 12 pupils from y5 and Y6 went to along to the university pool and track in the training village to enter the biathlon organised by Prior park.

This was a new venture for us, and the children all told us they enjoyed the day. There were a lot of children from all over BANES competing, as well as a lot of entries from the private schools in Bath.

In the U12 girls, Andrea came 38th.

In the U11 boys, Ollie S came 31st, Zac S came 46, Zac L came 47th, Spike came 67th and Rufus came 71st.

In the U11 girls, Becky came 25th, Darcy came 56th and Lily came 69th.

In the U10 boys, Zac D came 21st and Arthur came 22nd.

In the U10 girls, Annabel came 29th.

Well done everyone.

On Friday 27th January two teams of Y5/6 gymnasts travelled to Baskevilles gym club to take part in an inter school competition. The girls performed really well, finishing 5th and 10th in their groups respectively. The scores were really close, so they really did very well.

Futsai Festival

On Tuesday 10th January seven Y5 boys travelled to Wellsway school to take part in a Futsai festival.

The boys played really well and were  very well behaved.

We lost the first game to a team that went on to play in the final of the competition. The second game was very close, but unfortunately we lost that 1-0. The boys played really well and the last two games were both scoring draws. We finished fourth in our group. Well done boys!
