Tapestry

 

We use Tapestry, a secure online learning journal, which you can access from home on your computer, tablet or phone. This is a record of your child’s time in Nursery including photographs, observations and assessments made by your child’s key person. We encourage parents also to add photographs and observations of their children as it helps to provide a strong partnership with parents and information on the children’s development is shared both from parents and staff.

Attendance

 

At St Saviour’s Church School Nursery we understand the importance of regular attendance. Whilst attendance at Nursery is not mandatory, it is in the children’s best interests for both their development and their emotional wellbeing to attend regularly. If a child is not going to be at Nursery for one of their planned sessions, we ask parents to inform us. There are many different ways to contact us: by email, phone or in person at the office or Nursery. If a child has not arrived for one of their planned sessions, we will try in the first instance to contact the parent. If we are not able to contact the parent, we will use the emergency contact details provided by parents.

 

We recognise that regular non attendance or specific patterns of non attendance may sometimes be linked to possible safeguarding concerns.
