Outdoor learning in Reception

We are having great fun during our outdoor learning sessions. We went on a minibeast hunt to the Willow Garden. We looked under logs and leaves and found slugs, woodlice, worms, snails, spiders and a shield bug. We sang songs in the log circle and enjoyed exploring the garden with our friends.
Next week we are going on an Autumn scavenger hunt. If children would like to collect and bring in different colour leaves and conkers, next Thursday afternoon we will be making leaf artwork based on the work of Andy Goldsworthy.

Woodland creature cuddly toy request 

Do you have any unwanted woodland creature cuddly toys (hedgehogs, squirrels, foxes, birds etc)? Louise is putting together a collection of cuddly toys for the children to use during outdoor learning sessions.
