Year 5 went to Bath Abbey and Parade Gardens this week as part of their learning of Local Geography and History. They explored the changes of the Abbey, looking at it's structure from a Saxon Church through to the Tudor Abbey you see today. 

Year 5 sketched features of historical significance in Parade Gardens such the remains of the Monk's Mill, the Tuscan colonnade and learnt about the structure and layout of the gardens.

It was a fun packed trip!
