  Today, Year 5 visited the Holburne Museum. They went to learn about how the Ancient Greeks have influenced us today. 

  They also designed our own interpretation of a Greek plate that included classical patterns and mythical creatures!

  Silly Hat & Hair Day - Bring a Tombola Prize - Friday 1st Dec

   

  Unleash your children's imagination with our Silly Hat & Hair Day on Friday 1st December! Let us celebrate creativity and originality. Great fun for the kids and yet another task on your to do list ;)

   

  Naturally, taking part is completely optional, but we would love to see the kids have some fun with it. 

   

  In return, we ask for a Tombola prize donation for our Christmas Fair. Unopened gifts and items such as toiletries, perfumes, candles, wine and chocolates would be gratefully received.

• Football tournaments

  Over the past 2 weeks, teams of Year 6 girls and Year 6 boys represented St Saviour's Juniors at the Football tournaments. The children were able to play lots of games against other schools, and enjoyed playing alongside their teammates. Well done to everyone for taking part. Thank you to all of the parents who supported these events, and to Miss Markwell for organising these experiences and supporting the teams on the day. 

  

• Eiffel class are scientists

  Eiffel Class have been exploring the scale of the solar system (using toilet roll sheets). In groups they compared the extraordinary distance of the planets in the solar system from the sun. They learnt that Scientists use models to understand big concepts and have even compared the size of planets to fruit!
