Volunteering
Parents
At St. Saviour's, we actively welcome your participation in school life. We have a range of parents volunteering across the school in different ways, making a real impact on children's learning. There are many ways you could get involved:
- Find out about the role and responsibilities of school governors
- Join our parents' association, which works to support the school
- Speak to your child's teacher about how you might help. Common ways parents become involved include going on trips, helping out in class and listening to readers
- Tell us about any skills or interests you have which might help us, either in terms of children's learning or as an organisation.
Others
If you are not a parent, but are interested in volunteering with us, please get in touch. There are many ways you could contribute to our children's learning and development. We regularly offer places to people interested in gaining experience of working in a primary school.
Safeguarding
Please note that we conduct DBS (CRB) checks on all adults who regularly volunteer at St. Saviour's for an extended period of time or on a regular basis.
