Cross Country
Yesterday 18 Y5/6 girls and boys travelled to Wellsway School to take part in the BANES Cross Country competition after school.
The children all tried their best, and behaved really well.
The Y5 boys and girls teams both finished in 15th place, out of 23 schools, and the Y6 boys finished 10th out of 26 schools, whilst the Y6 girls finished 8th out of 23 schools. A great result for our first attempt at this event.
Finn D in Y5 finished 10th in his race, which was amazing! Maddie came 2nd in the Y6 girls race, in a nail-biting finish, where she was pipped at the post, after she had just managed to overtake the leader!
Both children will have the opportunity to take part in the next level of competition if they choose to do so.
