Lunch Menus
We are fortunate to have our own school kitchens on both the St Saviour's school sites. Our catering is provided by 'Edwards and Ward' who ensure a healthy, balanced and varied menu every day and who also supply most of our local schools. There is always provision for vegetarians and they will endeavour to provide any special dietary requirements if requested; please make sure you have the necessary medical information to clarify any particular needs.
All Infant aged children (children that attend out Infant School) qualify for free school meals, and over 90% of our pupils regularly enjoy a hot meal from our kitchens. When children move to Year 3 and the Junior School they need to start paying if they wish to enjoy a hot school dinner.
IT IS REALLY IMPORTANT TO REGISTER FOR ‘FREE SCHOOL MEALS’ IF YOUR FAMILY IS ELIGIBLE.
Although all infant children now enjoy free lunches, if you register as eligible for Free School Meals we can provide additional support for your child’s learning, financial support with clubs etc. Please see the office or your child’s teacher if you think you might be eligible. Please also see the link below for BaNES guidance on applying, and a copy of the BaNES Registration Form.
Children having a packed lunch should not bring fizzy drinks, chocolate or sweets to school, are encouraged to bring fruit as part of their lunch, and to avoid bringing crisps.
The Infant School is a a nut free school as we currently have children with severe nut allergies and this can be very worrying for young children and their parents or carers. Please check the ingredients label of foods and avoid houmous, chocolate spread and granola bars. We know you will continue to support us in keeping everyone safe and healthy.
The Junior School is not currently a nut free school.
