Our School Day

 

A typical school day at the Infants looks like this:

 

8.45am                       Doors open for children to come into class

8.55 am                       Registration

9.10am                        First learning Session

9.30am                        Collective worship and assembly

9.45am                        Second learning session

10.45 am                     Playtime

11am                           Third learning session

12.00 am                     Lunch

1.00 pm                       Afternoon Registration

1.10 pm                       Fourth learning session

2.00pm                        Afternoon Playtime

2.10pm                        Fifth learning Session

3.15 pm                       End of School Day

A typical school day at the Juniors looks like this:

8:45am - the doors open for Morning Mission, children are welcome to start an activity to get the day off to a flying start!

8.55am -  the register is taken (all children should be in school by now, if arriving after this time the child is now ‘late’ and must report to the office)

9:00am - Session 1 starts and this is usually Maths or English

10:20am – Most days we have assembly at this time (take a look at our assembly plan for more information)

10:40am – Playtime 

11:00am – Session 2 starts and this is usually a Maths or English lesson

12:30pm – Lunchtime – children can bring a packed lunch or have school dinners

1:30pm – The afternoon session starts and could be a topic lesson, PE or anything from our curriculum

3:25pm – School ends
