County Champions!

Our Y5 A team travelled to Clevedon cricket club on Tuesday, and had an excellent day of cricket.
They won all four of their group matches, as did St Stephens, which meant we met in the final to decide the county champions. Excellent cricket result for BANES.

It was a tense final... 250 runs each, same number of wickets taken, so then we went to a bowl out, which was a draw, so it came down to the number of runs from the last over. We had eleven, they had nine, so we got to bring the trophy home!!

Well done to the whole team, especially Adam as captain, and to the parents who came along as support, especially Matt who umpired for us, and Jesse who took some amazing photos. Thanks for your support too, Rich and Tash. And a special thanks to Grant, our fantastic coach.
