Weekly roundup Juniors

Dear Parents and Carers,

Weekly Roundup - Junior School

It’s been lovely to see the sunshine today after what has been a rather rainy week!

Well done Year 6

Year 6 have been working hard this week on their SATS tests, and I wanted to take the opportunity to say how proud we are of all of the children. They have approached the tests with enthusiasm and resilience, have showed up every day and given every day their best efforts. It has been so lovely to see children thoughtfully tackling questions, not worrying if they didn’t know the answers to some of the questions and confidently carrying on with the paper. Resilience in action!

A huge thank you to the parents and governors who have given up their time to help supervise the test. Thank you to all of the Infant and Junior school staff who have supported with the tests, and a huge thank you to breakfast club for sorting everyone out with such delicious breakfasts every day! Breakfast club has run like a café this week (Mrs Offler and Miss Markwell have joined Mrs Forleo and her usual team, and have been showing off their pancake cooking and toast making skills!) Breakfast club have certainly given everyone a great start to the day. For pictures of Year 6 celebrating the end of SATs at the park, click here.
