Denim For Dementia
St Saviour’s Junior Church School are a 'Dementia Friendly School' and received an award two years ago for our work in this area.
We have worked closely with the charity Reminiscence Learning in the past. We are particularly proud of our Year 4 Archie Project which was a great success before the pandemic arrived.
We are very keen to restart our Archie Project in the future when it is safe to do so and are in the process of raising funds to do this. This year, National Dementia Action Week is from 17th – 23rd May and we have marked this event by all the children in Nursery, Infant and Junior Schools wearing denim to school on Friday 21st May.
