What an egg-citing time in Year 2 this week! 

They have been thinking about cycle safety. Looking at why helmets are important to wear, what materials they are made of and how they protect people.

They then made a crash helmet for an ‘egg cyclist’ and tested it on an egg. 

Children worked in pairs using a range of materials to make and test their helmet.

The children carried out a comparative test, comparing the 'egg head' before and after being dropped to see if the materials they used had successfully protected the egg .
