Weekly Roundup - Junior School

 

It may have been a rather rainy week, but we’ve been busy doing lots of learning!

 

Hart Class have been swimming this week at the Leisure Centre in Bath. They have been travelling in on the coach, and have been learning different strokes. Mrs Russell was so impressed yesterday with the children’s water confidence, and said every child was able to go underwater! Well done Hart class!

 

Year 5 have been continuing writing poetry, and it has been lovely to hear some of their excellent poems throughout the week. They have been writing in the style of Michael Rosen. Bella used great direct speech, Isla’s poem was very funny and Ralph M’s handwriting was beautiful!

 

In assembly, we enjoyed singing and reflecting together, and Isla shared her santa dash medal which she earnt during the Christmas holidays – well done Isla.
