St Saviour's Church Schools

Junior weekly roundup

Dear Parents and Carers

Weekly Roundup – Junior School

This week, we held our Maths and English evening at school, which was run by teachers from all year groups (those who weren’t in the hall did a brilliant job leading the creche). It was great to see so many of you there, and lovely to hear your positive feedback about the event. Click here for pictures of the event, and here to see the presentation we shared.

Children from years 4, 5 and 6 took part in the Avon Tag Rugby festival yesterday which was organised by Mrs Merrett. We will be sharing photos of this early next week, and look forward to hearing all about it. (At the time of writing this roundup, the children are still at the festival, as I am at a Trust Leadership day on Friday). We know they will have represented the school brilliantly and had a great time. Luckily the sun is shining for the event 😊

Also this week:

Hamish, Bea, Freya, Evie and Freddie kindly raised £11.73 for the school by selling squash. What a lovely thing to do. Click here to see a picture of this.

Coming up…

On Monday 10th October, we will be holding our Harvest Celebration in the Junior School Hall at 9.10am. You are welcome to join us for this.

St Saviour’s Juniors are collecting donations on behalf of Julian House this year so if you would like to send in dried or tinned items, we will add them to the donation being made by St Saviour’s Schools.
