Year 5 have been completing their parachute investigation in Science.

Each group had one different variable, either the weight, the size of canopy, the length of the string or the material the canopy was made from. 

The investigation raised lots of scientific thinking, such as how does hot air make a difference, what if it was a hot day, would it make the parachutes fall faster or slower?
