Chess winners Violet, Tobias and Finn went to the UK Chess Challenge Megafinal at Millfield School, having done so well at the School tournament that we ran earlier this year. They played a total of 18 games against the best players from other Somerset schools, quite an achievement! By winning 4 of his 6 games, Finn has amazingly qualified for the "Southern Gigafinal" to be held in July. Over 43,000 children all over the UK have joined the challenge and I believe this is the very first time St Saviour’s has had club players compete at this level. Well done to all of them!
