Weekly roundup – Infant School
What an end of term it has been!
Talent show
We enjoyed the Year 2 talent show on Monday where we were treated to dancing, gymnastics, football skills, jokes, riddles and ukulele strumming and singing. It was great! Every child and adult had huge smiles on their faces throughout.
Year 2 Leavers
On Tuesday we then had the Year 2 leavers assembly. By the end I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house. Children singing on mass does it to me every time. We are all so proud of all the children and we really will miss them. They are more than ready for Year 3 and it was wonderful to see them confidently speaking into the microphones, singing and sharing their unique talents.
Reception and Year 1 are also ready for their next stage, and we look forward to seeing them continue to grow and flourish in September.
Hot! Hot! Hot!
And all this with the most intense heat we have experienced in school. The staff and children were remarkable in true St Saviours fashion and put their heads down and took it in their strides. There was lots of water spraying, time under the shady trees and feet in trays of water. Click here for some photos of Egypt class staying cool.
Summer Fair
The amazing Summer Fair organised by our marvellous PTA raised a fantastic £2821! A huge thank you to all the PTA and volunteers on the day and to all the families who turned up on the day and supported the fair despite the rain!

And finally…
We just want to extend our thanks to you all for your continued support over the year and to your wonderful children who make our jobs each day such a pleasure. No two days are ever the same and its never dull!
We hope you all have a wonderful summer and return back to school on Monday 5th September refreshed and raring to go!
Best wishes
