Weekly roundup Infant

Dear Parents and Carers,

Weekly roundup – Infants

Reception assembly

What an amazing Reception assembly we had this morning! The children shared their learning with confidence, and this included speaking into the microphone in front of the large audience. They sang their songs beautifully with actions and all the older children and grownups were super proud of them.

Farleigh Hungerford

Year 1 and 2 enjoyed their visits to Farleigh Hungerford Castle. The sun shone on both days and the children learnt lot of facts about the Lady Tower, Lord and Lady Hungerford and what life was like living in the castle. Click here and here.  A member of the public who was visiting said that she thought our children were the best behaved children she had ever experienced on a school trip! Well done everyone! Spreading the Caring Code far and wide.

Green Day

Today has also been Green Day and the children have written their sustainability pledges.

I promise to recycle litter and I promise to turn off the taps – Tommy

I promise to recycle glass, metal and cardboard – Estella

We value all our Governors who do an amazing job of supporting the St Saviours schools. Thank you to Wendy who has written this terms message from the Governors. Click here to read her message.

Children’s Festival

It looks like it’s going to be lovely weather next week for half term. We hope you all have a good break whatever you are doing. Don’t forget that Alice Park is hosting the children’s festival as part of Bath Festival with lots of fun activities.

We look forward to seeing you all for the start of Term 6 on Tuesday 6th June.
