St Saviour's Church Schools

Weekly Roundup – Junior School

And the Summer Holidays are here! Well done everyone on such a fantastic year!

Celebration at the Church

On Monday, we said goodbye to our leavers at the Church, including Mrs James, Miss Lee, Ms Birkett, Miss Noad and of course, Year 6! Mr Beament shared his ‘top 3’ of the year, including the new library, enterprise day and the lovely moments we share with the children celebrating their learning. Sharing brilliant moments of learning with the children is one of my favourite things to do! 😊 Thank you to Rob and Rachel for welcoming us to the Church. Click here to see the videos we shared.

End of Year message from Co-Chairs of Governors

We are very grateful for all of the support our fantastic governing body have given to the St Saviour’s Community this year. Thank you 😊 Please click here to read a message from our co-chairs.

Keeping cool during the heatwave

We’ve experienced some exceptionally hot weather this week, and Mrs Lewis, Mrs Simpkins and Miss Markwell came up with a fantastic way to stay cool – the Year 3 spa, complete with trays of cool water for your feet and wet paper towels for your head! (I was lucky enough to visit and can confirm it was great!) Click here to see pictures of the spa in action!

Year 6 forest School

Year 6 have been having fun at the Infants doing forest school activities. Click here to see pictures.

PTA summer fair

The amazing Summer Fair organised by our marvellous PTA raised a fantastic £2821! A huge thank you to all the PTA and volunteers on the day and to all the families who turned up on the day and supported the fair despite the rain!

And finally…

We just want to extend our thanks to you all for your continued support over the year. A huge well done to all of the children for all of their achievements – now it’s time for a well deserved break 😊

We hope you all have a wonderful summer and look forward to seeing the children on Monday 5th September ready to start the new term.
