Weekly Roundup – Junior School
This week has been fantastically festive! We started the week with Carols at Church. It was lovely to hear everyone’s singing in the Church. ‘That’s What Christmas Means to Me’ was a particular favourite, and Year 6 loved sitting on the balcony– thank you Rachel and Rob for inviting us down. Year 4 had a great time sharing some Carols with the residents of Oriel Lodge. It was so wonderful for Year 4 to be able to chat to the residents and bring some Christmas cheer to them, and all the more impressive as it was through Teams rather than in person. You can see pictures and videos of their singing here.
Year 5 put together their very own festive music video during a music lesson with Mr Neale this week. You can see this here – we think the surprises throughout will bring a smile to your face 😊

It’s been snowing this week in Larkhall too! See pictures of this wonderful weather event here and here - luckily it coincided just in time with pick up both times! 😊
On Thursday, we had our annual Christmas jumper day and Christmas dinner – what a festive celebration! For pictures of all the fun, click here.
Finally, we are sorry to be saying goodbye to Ms Wilson and Mrs Higgs, who are off to start new adventures. We wish them all the best, and thank them for all of their support and help. To find out about our leaving assembly for them, click here.
