  • Welcome back!

    Tue 15 Sep 2015
Welcome back to the beginning of another school year, particularly to those of you joining us as new parents or children, either in Y3 or in other years, and to the returning and new members of the staff team. This is the first of my fortnightly newsletters which I hope will keep you informed of forthcoming events, activities and achievements in school. The biggest news is that at the end of the summer holiday we took possession of our new classroom building and, I hope you’ll agree, it is stunning! It has some implications for routines around school though, particularly first thing in the morning and at the end of the day. There is not much room outside the only door that we can use at the moment, so having the Y4s collected from the hall exit is hopefully helping with that. However, the ground to either side of the new path has now been seeded so it would help enormously if both parents and children could keep to the pathway and not walk on the verges.
  • Dinners

    Tue 15 Sep 2015
Until our new kitchen has been built, we are having school meals prepared elsewhere, brought into school and served here. We are not able to update the meals order for the day once it has been submitted after registration in the morning. So, if your child is late into school, they will need to be provided with a packed lunch from home. However, if you know that they will be late, following a doctor’s appointment for example, you can pre-order their school lunch by leaving a message on the school answerphone (01225 310137) before 9.15am.
