  PTA Christmas Disco Due to the ongoing building work affecting the space in the hall, we are unable to stage a traditional Christmas Fair this year. However, the PTA disco lives on! Thursday 10th December Years 3 & 4 - 6.00pm – 7.00pm Years 5 & 6 - 7.15pm – 8.30pm £2.50 on the door to include refreshments

  the Peace Tree planting
  On Wednesday 11th November, the whole school gathered together on the ‘back fields’ to complete a task begun nearly 100 years ago. Along with children from St. Saviour’s Infants and St. Mark’s, parents and members of the community, we planted a replacement for the recently felled memorial tree, the Peace Oak, first planted in memory of the ex-pupils and Headmaster of St. Saviour’s Boys’ School who gave their lives in World war I. Just as in 1919, the Peace Oak was planted by pupils from the school but, this time, we added a commemorative plaque (donated by Langbridge’s) and a poppy cross for each of the named soldiers on the memorial in the school library. The Mayor of Bath also joined us for what he described as, “A really moving commemoration”. Many thanks to all of you who made a donation towards the tree, through sponsoring the ‘Muftree Day’ in school or who provided the poppy crosses.
  
  

  

• Building Update

  Building update 
  The next phase of building: the new kitchen, is rapidly taking shape in its hiding place behind the hall. This is due for completion during next term so we are looking forward to being able to produce our own school meals, on site once again, very soon. At the same time, the layout for the redesigned play space is also beginning to be revealed and is destined for completion in the spring.
