  • It's DISCO time!

    Fri 14 Jul 2023

Yesterday the Junior Disco team (made up of a kind group of parent volunteers) held a wonderful 'Beach Party' themed disco. The mocktails, party props, sweets, lights and music by a professional DJ made the disco extra-special! Huge thanks to everyone who helped to organise it and helped out on the day pouring drinks, giving out wrist bands, setting up and tidying up: as you can see, the children had a brilliant time!

  • Legend event: Bouncy Castle!

    Fri 14 Jul 2023

We had a wonderful time yesterday at the Bouncy Castle Legend Event! Slight change of plans due to the rain (just like sports day!), with the bouncy castle in the hall instead of outside, but not even the rain could dampen everyone's spirits! After the legends had lots of fun, all of the year groups had a quick turn and the Year 2's were able to come and join us as part of their transition activities - thank you Claire and Joanna for bringing them across. Thank you to Mrs Lewis for being top bouncy castle organiser.

  • Mission Implausible?! Mission totally plausible!

Year 6 have done a fantastic job this week performing 'Mission Implausible' to 3 audiences! Every show was brilliant, huge congratulations to Year 6 for all of their hard work in producing such an excellent show. Even our Trust teddy made an appearance - can you spot him? Thank you to Mrs Offler, Miss Markwell, Mrs Forleo (and Greta, a volunteer working with Year 6) for all of their hard work supporting Year 6.

    Fri 07 Jul 2023

As part of the BWMAT 10th Anniversary celebrations, a special Trust song was written. All of the schools across the Trust learnt the song and created videos of the children performing it. These videos have all been put together to make a video including every Trust school! You can see the video here: Best We Can Be

Look out for St Saviour's Infants and Juniors, and if you can hear a tambourine in the recording, that is us!

  • Junior BWMAT 10th Anniversary Celebrations

    Fri 07 Jul 2023

We've had a great week celebrating the BWMAT's 10th Anniversary. We kicked off the week with a teddy bear's picnic, complete with picnic blankets and cuddly toys! Although the weather meant this was an indoor picnic, we still had lots of fun, and Jake made everyone a special picnic lunch (chicken dippers and veggie sausages were very popular!)

We have done STEM activities in class including making paper birthday cakes and candles in Year 3 and 4, making party poppers in Year 5 and using glasses of water to recreate the tune of 'Happy Birthday' in Year 6!

There's been lots of fun all round!

  • BWMAT is 10 years old, and we are World Record Breakers!

    Thu 06 Jul 2023

Today, some children from the Infants and Juniors visited St George's school in Weston Super Mare to be part of the BWMAT 10th Birthday Celebrations! We organised lots of jumpers to spell out BWMAT 10, and broke the world record for the most school jumpers tied together in a long line! We also sang the Trust song and received a teddy bear wearing the school jumper, who will go on lots of adventures in the coming years. We had a great day!
