Weekly roundup Infants
Fri 12 May 2023Dear Parents and Carers,
Weekly roundup Infants
We’ve greatly enjoyed seeing the portraits of King Charles this week. The children have captured different aspects of the King and his passions using different mediums to create his image. Today in celebration assembly Toby’s dad came in to share his experience of attending the Coronation! He shared pictures and his invitation with us which was amazing. What a fantastic experience and what an honour to have been invited. Thank you for sharing with us. Click here for photos of portraits and here for photos from the assembly.
Lucas D said, ‘It sounded important to go there. The invitation was really special. The crown on it was red and gold.’
Reception have been enjoying the finer weather and the blossom on the trees creating wonderful Nature crowns as part of their outdoor learning. We have been talking with the children about caring for our environment and how we don’t pick things that are growing and living using only treasures that we find on the ground. Click here for photos
Alia said, ‘We put water on our plants and flowers and don’t pick them.’
